This would've been a really good move to pull off for the Suns or Bucks.

The fact that we haven't signed Okogie yet means we're still waiting on others. Offered Highsmith a deal, maybe waiting on someone like Lowry?

Where’s the hate for Dalton Knecht? He’s been worse than Bronny and was their 1st round pick…Can’t we just wait before we judge these guys? Surely suns fans know that scouting is an imperfect science…none of us know if Bronny will be good or not…why not just let him play and then decide?
It's never too soon to judge a Laker.

I would not do that…makes us even smaller
I wouldn't want Trae Young, but the I don't think our size at PG makes a difference. Our lack of size is mainly felt in having a 6'4ish shooting guard in the frontcourt paired with Durant who plays small.
Free Agency
DeMar Derozan for the minimum!

PG: Jordan McLaughlin, Killian Hayes, Kris Dunn, Spencer Dinwiddie, Monte Morris
C: Mo Bamba, Andre Drummond, James Wiseman, Goga Bitadze, Jay Huff

(Very, very) theoretically, what would we need to add to Beal to make Atlanta swap Young for him?
I think the problem is that they already traded Dejounte Murray. Moving Trae for Beal would make sense if they still had Murray.

I want Harrison Barnes :(
He is on the decline. He gives us more size, but I don't see him making us meaningfully better.

I don’t like the fit in Sacramento, but Derozan is quite a bit better than Barnes
As a shot creator, sure. Is that what Sacramento needs? Shooting wise Derozan shoots twice as much a game but isn't better percentage wise & still Barnes shoots twice as many 3's. Iono, just don't see it.
Ya it’s not a great fit, but it’s a talent upgrade…Sacramento is lacking in talent…gotta see if they can make it work now.
I think specifically they were lacking a scoring threat to take pressure off of Fox. Sabonis is great, but in the 4th quarter, it seemed like everything would fall on Fox to create one on one. DeRozan, in theory, would address that issue.

In general, he's right. It's always about the money and finding ways to make more of it. But really, most everyone's streaming in some capacity and in some cases a bunch of streaming services combined are cheaper than traditional cable/satellite. Besides, you're really only talking about Peacock and Amazon on Mondays and Thursdays. The rest of the games are NBC and ESPN.

Also, something tells me if Chuck were one of the guys making $50mil a season, he might not be saying that stuff publicly.

They are interested in young fans and young fans almost exclusively stream…Charles is talking about the 65+ community that has always had cable and can’t afford to add streaming on top…how many people under the age of 40 pay for cable?

I want to say that it’s karma for the nuggets thinking they can outsmart the system and losing key pieces to their championship roster. It’s not quite Dallas 2006 level but it’s close.

I'm hoping they'll still be good enough to be enticing to Bradley Beal.
