It's going to be an interesting final season of Inside the NBA.

Even the TV deals are full of drama with the NBA.

Let's just air the games on TNT but license them the Roundball Rock song. Everybody wins.

Except NBC has roundball rock and they are trying to take the Amazon share…Amazon and nbc are easier to get than tnt, so I’m cool losing tnt…just hope nbc or Amazon hires the inside the nba crew…but if they don’t it’s fine…I just want the basketball

What channel/service are the Disney games on?

ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN+, I would assume.

Ah, good. I think I'm set then. What about Peacock? Do we really need a subscription to it or can we watch them on NBC?

This is the part I don't like. I cancelled Peacock because it sucks. I don't really want to have to subscribe to another service just to get the occasional Suns game when I'm already paying for League Pass. Also, I like to watch games delayed, so I can fast forward through all the dead time. Will Amazon and Peacock support that?

All this streaming is just stupid now. Why can’t we have nice things? I use Sunset app on my firestick to just get it all.

Streaming is the future and all that, but, if various NBA games are available only on Amazon Prime video, a ton of people aren't going to be able to watch them (or know how to watch them).

That’s why Amazon paid 2 billion dollars, so people will get Amazon prime…I’ve had it for 15 years, mostly for the shopping benefits…to me it’s getting easier to watch games with NBC and Amazon…ditch ESPN or get them to a streaming service and we’ll be golden.

I ready somewhere (maybe here) that said Amazon prime had a lot more subscribers than TNT. (Copilot says over 200 million (167 M in US) Prime vs 34 million TNT). This presumably is the primary factor why the NBA prefers amazon. It will reach more homes. I believe this is why the NBA said TNT didn't match the Amazon offer; while the money was the same, the consumer reach was not.

I've been an Amazon prime member for like 15-20 years at this point. I think I've used Prime Video twice. There is zero chance I will take the time to log onto Prime Video for some random NBA game in the regular season. I'd be curious to see how many Prime subscribers also regularly use Prime Video.

You’d skip a suns game because of the hassle of logging in?

I don’t regularly use prime video, but I absolutely will for nba games. I watch the prime Thursday night football games fairly regularly.

I use Prime Video several times a week. There is some good stuff on there.
