Doesn’t hurt that liddell is cheaper on by over $700k+ but with Luxury tax it’s almost $2 million?

Even more…we’re in the territory where we pay like 6.50 for every dollar…it might be close to 5 million in savings

I thought our owner was rich and didn't care about money?

He doesn’t care about money if it’s helping us…doesn’t mean he’s going to blow 5 million on a 15th man that won’t make the team.

Waive and stretch would be over 3 years and cost 700,000 a year…saves us another 10 million or so in salary plus tax…of course it creates another roster spot we’d need to fill and we’d spend most of that savings filling it…unless say Jalen Bridges was converted and signed for the rookie minimum…that would only take about half the savings.

Suns traded Roddy for EJ Liddell, small PF for bigger but still small PF. Welp.
We FINALLY got Liddell!!! Wait, who? Never heard of him.

Like he said recently, he's not silly with money.

This trade is going to affect the Valley Suns more than the Suns.

The Suns will save a little money, which is fine since neither is going to really contribute much of anything.

I don’t think we need another pg…I’m actually fine with Collin Gillespie being the emergency pg. Get me a bigger wing that can shoot.

Can someone sweet talk Tyus Jones? Why is that dude not signed? Markelle Fultz?

Tyus will get paid still I think…it’d be crazy if he signed for the minimum…Fultz might have to take a minimum, but I’m not sure we want another non-shooter. There really isn’t many other PG’s still out there. Dennis Smith Jr, Devonte Graham, Malachi Flynn

I think we need another point guard AND a big win that can shoot. But again, roster construction at the moment isn't great. And you can't count Gillespie because he hasn't proven anything at this level. I just don't know where the minutes would come from for another point guard.

I think I'd Fultz most of the guys who are attainable.

I just think there’s minutes right now for a wing shooter…there’s only minutes for another pg if we have injuries.
