I don't ever want to be in a negotiation against Matt Ishbia. That man knows how to get what he wants.

"We don't need no stinkin' point guards. Why would we take the ball out of the hands of our scorers?" :?

Then he and Mr. Jones go out and get the 2 best point guard solutions available on the market for next to nothing.

Looking forward to a lot fewer 4th qtr collapses, weak tentative passes to covered teammates, 20+ turnover games. All those things that kept last year from being any fun at all.

Yep, I'm hoping for a fun explosion. We deserve it after what we went through last season.

My favorite player. I have to say when we traded Mikal away I started understanding how some younger fans can be stans for a certain player but hold no loyalty to teams whatever.

I still remember when Morris was playing in Denver as their second or third string pg and us having gone from the three headed pg monster to having no point guards, and me being jealous of other teams’ third string pgs. That was when I knew that Morris was one of the better ato guys in the league.

Both him and Jones are career backups, but Jones has been talked about as the more start ready player, particularly when Ja went down for some games during the “we are fine in the west” year and the Grizzlies not really missing a beat.

Without any in-depth analysis I also feel like Jones is the steadier of the two. Morris dealt with more injuries and never developed a reputation for being a super sixth man waiting for the chance to start while Jones did start for the Wizards last year and put up very respectful numbers. I’d say in 2k terms maybe their ratings are 79 and 75? Still not sure Jones is an offensive engine breaking down the D with his handles and creating opportunities for his teammates but he is more of a steady hand type guy…

I’m excited about the season again.

Definitely feeling better about this season now too. After getting my hopes up last year I’ve been hesitant to get too excited.

I'm mostly feeling better about next year's team than last year's. But I do worry that we may have acquired new guys whose helpful new production will be countered by a drop in production of existing guys who gave us good production last year. In particular I'm worried that Grayson Allen could have a big regression to the mean, and/or that Nurkic may not have as much of a role now that we have a real PG facilitator. I'm also still worried that we didn't totally address our size and defense issues. But again, I still like this team better.

I am not sad that Nurk won’t see the ball as point center at the top of the key. He is not good enough to run the offense through.

We just gotta figure out what Nurk is gonna do…set a bunch of off ball screens? Shoot 3s?

I have a feeling that we may not win that many more games, but we'll win the ones we do with less effort. No more of those 20 point come back against the Kings on our home floor to win by 1 games. Fewer 4th quarter melt downs. Less wear and tear on our stars.
