Right; it's super rare for an incumbent to step aside. The race is basically Biden vs Trump. I think it's fine to just accept that and decide accordingly whom to vote for. And when one candidate's flaw is that he literally says he will be a dictator, and the other one's flaw is that he is old, the decision is pretty easy to me.

Then you better accept President Trump 2024, because it’s happening. Sigh. Don’t want to hear any shock, disgust, threats to move to a different country. Because you were part of the problem, not the solution. You had an airplane destined to crash and you were content to let it fail instead of course correcting to save the passengers.

I've taken a 15% pay cut since Covid and I'm facing another round of cuts. Because the government aka Medicare has zero respect for physicians and all the power is in the hands of insurance companies who charge an arm and a leg for premiums then line their own pockets

I'm not a Bernie socialist on every issue, but I'm more than ready for the US to have a universal health care system. There doesn't seem to be much benefit to our current system where we just funnel all the money to these fat insurance companies while lots of people still have poor or no health care.

That sucks…I should be grateful it hasn’t impacted my job the same way…I can 2nd insurance companies being awful though.

Third that on insurance companies blowing.... I can't tell you how infuriating it is when you're unable to get the treatment you need because insurance won't cover it. I've dealt with this personally with my own debilitating pain and was even more frustrated when I saw how it affected my moms pancreatic cancer treatment. Until you're in a situation where you're health and treatment is dependent on how much money you have, it's hard to relate.

Yep, I’ve been lucky not to have health problems.. but as a nurse I see how it impacts patients every day.
