He's got Covid now?

Oh yeah, totally the same thing. I'm glad someone finally said it

Why is the timing interesting? I don’t think it’s interesting at all…probably just saw that democratic voters want him to step down and enough of his peers want him to as well. The assassination attempt was irrelevant and I’m not even sure how it would play a role.

Come on, Jill. Face facts! Let's go. Let's mix this up.

Can Biden be forced out? If he is removed via the 25th amendment, can he still campaign? What happens to campaign funds and comitted delegates? Legal opinions from both sides welcome just to get a range of the possible.

Feels like there’s enough steam now and he’ll step down…I’d be surprised if he doesn’t at this point

My question is would Kamala be the candidate? Or would other people throw their name in the hat?

Take this with a grain of salt. I have no idea who this is. But apparently NewsMax has said he's stepping down.

It seems likely, but nothing official yet. I certainly wouldn't trust Newsmax to know.

Mark Halperin (the Newsmax reporter), used to be the political director for ABC News, worked for MSNBC, and is a famous political author. He’s not some nobody.

He had to end up working for Newsmax because of sexual harassment allegations.

That's fine, and Axios is also reporting that a Biden withdrawal is likely on Sunday. I'm just going to wait until we hear something more official because the situation still seems to be in flux.
