Seeing Magic so far atop that playoff assist list is amazing. The guy played only about 2/3 of a real NBA career, and he's far and away the #1 in playoff assists. Even the mighty and extremely long-careered Lebron James isn't even close to catching him. An amazing record.
Yeah, Magic is something special. He should get a lot more credit when people are talking about top 5 ever.
And it is telling that Lebron is the only guy in the top 6 that isn't a PG. And the other non-PGs are nearly 1000 assists behind him. crazy.
Good chance Paul passes (no pun intended) Larry Bird for 7th on the all-time assist list for NBA playoff basketball in the next two games.
I’m not on the “Suns in fo” craziness, this series could easily go to 6 games, and not even planning parades, injuries can alter any outcome in a pinch. So, a healthy Chris Paul could climb to Top7 after this year.

Maybe you didn't see my comment above this but I think there's a good chance he does it in the next two games.

I did, and 21 assists on two games is very doable, but he is averaging 8.7 for the playoffs. and the last time he dished over 10 was 6 games ago. I’m aiming for 3 games to get Top 7.

I feel like Magic’s personality/stint as exec with Lakers might have something to do with him getting less mentions. That and recency bias obviously.
