Probably drinking the kool aid too much but I think Jalen Bridges will be a rotation player for us. Not playoff rotation but as a 9th or 10th man during the regular, I think so. Plays good defense, good 3pt shooter, is 6’9”, sounds like someone who can play 10-15mins a game to me.
I don't think he's a very good defender, probably passable at best but he's got a quick shot that he should be able to get off over anyone. I wish there was a way to combine Dunn and Bridges into one player 😂
Just substitute every time the ball crosses midcourt.

While it would be great if Dunn could hit the long ball, the main thing is that he can't just be bad on offense. I think Dunn would be fine without a 3-point shot if he knew how to score efficiently around the basket and could attack defenses while being able to convert at the free throw line. And the last part is what gives me concern. If want to just use Dunn as a finisher on the offensive end, teams will eventually just send him to the line and let him clank free throws.

Ya I agree. Dunn is a good athlete and cutter it appears, but if he’s going to shoot 52% from the ft line, he’ll be unplayable as teams will just foul him…we’d have to keep him out of actions and stick him in the corner where no one will guard him. Hitting at least 65% from the line is my hope..that’s enough that teams won’t purposefully foul him.

In addition to Jalen Bridges, the Suns deserve credit for pursuing and getting Boo Buie on an E10 deal. These are the things a competent front office does.

I'm confident he'll get a decent second contract even if his shot is slow to develop. Just seems like he has it together mentally to be successful and I understand why some people had him projected to be drafted earlier than 28th.

Anybody remember another defensive specialist we had named Dunn? Didn’t play much. T.R.

LeBron James is arguably the greatest NBA player of all time, and he's controlled a majority of player and coaching moves related to his team for most of his career.

The Lakers used a 55th pick on him.

What's the controversy?

Any chance we can collect all the Bronny talk into one thread like we did with Ayton?

If it makes you Bronny haters feel any better I'm pretty sure Papa Bartelstein is doing everything he can to help out his Suns employed son.

Pretty weird to hate someone over the situation.

Prediction: Bronnny’s first NBA minutes will be in garbage time. His dad will stay in the floor in garbage time so he can share the court with his son.

Will Bronny get the Kaitlin Clark treatment in his first NBA time?

Assuming it’s garbage time, the other players on the court are garbage time players desperate to use these precious few minutes of PT to make a case for themselves, not to make a point about Bronny’s nepotism.

If it’s not garbage time and he’s getting unearned time against real players, they’ll punish him by exploiting him, not by hitting him.

But do the Lakers plan to sign him? :P
