Only one side has vowed to never stop trying to kill the other side until they have all been wiped out.

This is kind of interesting. The way they killed off that leader was by hiding an explosive in the place he'd be staying, months in advance. Once he was there, boom. Long-term planning to take out an important enemy/rival.

Fwiw, the White House has released an official statement condemning and disagreeing with Cori Bush's recent anti-Semitic remarks. (good)

The IDF continues to kill innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza using weapons the US gave to them. It would be the easiest thing in the world to simply stop giving them said weapons until a complete cease-fire is in place. But we aren't willing to do that.

Tremendous black eye on this administration. A lot of doublespeak regarding the injustices that are taking place. I didn't appreciate Kamala rudely interrupting the Palestinian protesters. I still would never vote for Trump but Biden and Harris are dropping the ball here.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Columbia University's president has resigned as part of the fallout over the Gaza/Israel protests that occurred there this academic year.

FWIW, various Palestinian-Americans have been asking for a chance to speak at this week's DNC and have thus far been rejected. They claim that they are willing to run their whole speech through vetting and approval by the DNC, but they're still being denied. While unfortunate, I understand why Kamala and the party would want to avoid having them speak due to the high risk of some sort of negative headlines and attention coming from it.

It’s the DNC Presidential nomination, not a pro Palestinian anti Israel event. Of course they didn’t want them to speak. There is a time and a place for that stuff.

It takes two sides for a cease fire. Did the Palestinians/Hamas/Iran agree to stop trying to wipe Israel off the map for the rest of eternity? No, they didn’t. They vow to keep up the fight forever no matter how many Palestinians/Jews are killed.

Why are you grouping Palestinians, Hamas, and Iran together? Are they all just one group in your mind?

Well it’s essentially just Palestinians right now being killed.

Why did we drop bombs of Japan civilians in WWII and kill hundreds of thousands of civilians? They weren’t the military. Why did we carpet bomb Germany and their citizens? They had absolutely nothing to do with Hitler and their military, right? Vietnam? Afghanistan, Iraq? Bin Laden and his crew of a dozen or less guys caused 9/11 and we took out two countries in response killing hundreds of thousands of civilians. Japan surrendered. Germany surrendered and that ended all bombing of civilians.

I realize you guys have completely separated Hamas from the Palestinians. To you guys the Palestinians are hostages of Hamas and want nothing to do with fighting Israel and just want to live side by side in peace. 70+ years of history tells me otherwise. The UN watchdog said Israel committed war crimes. You guys see that. The UN said Hamas AND Palestinians were responsible for war crimes too in their attack on Israel. You guys don’t see that. It didn’t happen. It must be fake. In 70+ years the Palestinians had absolutely no say in anything that ever happened in Gaza. Hamas was created by a Palestinian.

What is happening in Gaza is horrific. Surrender. End the suffering. A cease fire and no surrender means Gaza rebuilds their city and their army and goes right back to attacking Israel for another 70+ years and all of this has accomplished nothing.

How do you expect the Palestinian civilians to surrender? Hamas is not them…none of us were alive for WW2, but I would not have been ok with dropping a nuke on Japan..killing civilians should always be avoided at all costs, not used to force a surrender.

If you were President instead of Truman you would be responsible for an extra couple hundred thousand American deaths in WWII. Just as many Japanese would have probably died without using the nukes if we even won and it would be bloody as hell. We weren’t stopping until unconditional surrender. Same with Germany.

Like I said Hamas was formed by a Palestinian and how many of its soldiers are Palestinians? The Palestinians are total neutered sheep with no balls whatsoever to make any decisions for themselves according you guys.

How do you expect the average Palestinian citizen to stop Hamas? Should you take blame for all the things Trump did in office?
