People may talk about this moment. Vance calls Haitian immigrants illegals, and the moderator says they are legal. He says, you said you weren't going to fact check.

This seems like one of those debates where both sides declare victory. I think both VP candidates had some good and some bad moments and that neither one definitively "beat" the other. I don't think the VP debate is likely to change many voters' minds.

I am reading that Vance kicked Walz's ass. But I agree that it doesn't matter.

Neither kicked ass, it was the most boring vanilla debate in years, they just rubbed each other's bellies and agreed a bunch. Another massive missed opportunity for the Dems.

I underestimated Vance. He was quite smooth and well prepared. And I was happy to see some civility for a change. I guess that’s what happens when you put two Midwesterners together. But Vance really blew it when he wouldn’t admit to losing the election and also that he would have done Trump’s bidding as vice president and not accepted the election results from the states.

Vance started strong and petered out at the end while Walz started slow and got stronger as it went on. Ultimately, I don’t know if this debate will have any affect on the election.

More swing state polling showing Harris up but by narrow margins. Trump ahead in Georgia is interesting.

How the hell did we get to a point where everybody who looks at a gay person, transgender person, or war refugee and says, “There but for the grace of God go I” is a demon straight from Hell, while everybody who bows down and prays to a golden idol in the image of Trump is a good Christian?

What is this bunk from WV? I am getting really worried that if Kamala seems to have won the election after 11/5, multiple red states will simply say "nuh-uh" and refuse to abide by the result.

This is the path to a second Civil War. Or that of blue states rebelling against an authoritarian Trump.

New Georgia polling. I don't think Trafalgar is the best pollster, but whatever.

I saw something about the Republican party financially abandoning her. She is toast.

Are Older Voters Kamala Harris' Secret Weapon?
https://www.newsweek.com/senior-older-v ... is-1965843
Seniors have two defining characteristics as a voting bloc: they're more likely to identify as Republican and they're also more likely to show up at the polls. At least one of these things, however, is changing, and if the other stays the same, it could be what tips the scale in favor of the Democrats.

Harris has recently taken the lead among America's oldest voters from former President Donald Trump, a New York Times/Siena College released Tuesday shows. Harris is leading by 2 points among those 65 and older, with 49 percent support to Trump's 47 percent.
