Once they got that 22-point lead they just let themselves be outworked the rest of the game. Outscored 97-68 from that point on.

They didn't get back on defense, and when they did, they didn't offer much resistance; on offense they had too many turnovers again. Booker and Nurkic looked particularly lost tonight.

I love Book, but man, he was not aggressive at all, turned down open looks, forcing things... Just out of sorts

Honestly wonder if Frank wouldnt be that bad of an option. Just play 20mins a game, he’d hit open 3 for sure.

They did muck with Book, he was double teamed a couple times and made his ass worked. Reeves cooked him all night. Just a horrible night for him.

Yep, Reaves got the better of him on this night.

Oso needs a year of cultivating mass before he can be a legit option at center

I really wish we would trade the ‘32 pick for multiple lesser picks…then attach one of those to Nurk…or just throw Oso to the lobos.

Would he? I mean moreso than Nurk for sure, but he never shot as good as I expected. He’s just ok as a shooter.

Im just down bad lol. It’s just so clear the center position is going to hold this team back this year. West is too brutal, headed for another first or second round exit.

Kaminsky wouldn't give you much of anything else though. And I shudder to think what the rebounding would be like without Nurkic.

Great. Gonna get cooked again. *sigh*

Kind of wish I could just press a button and skip 20 games ahead, I know this team will look much better by then.

We stuffed around in the second half of the second term and let them go into half time with momentum and belief (and single figure deficit). No killer instinct when we had them on the ropes.

You don't think we'd make any moves to try and fix the weak link?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

We will for sure. Just not sure when. Probably near the trade deadline.

Just getting a mid Center that will just do the dirt work competently would go a long way. Someone who can get Rebounds, play decent defense and score easy baskets that open up around the rim. Nick Richards?

Nurk tries to do too much on offense. He seems to think it's his mission and he takes it personal to try to back down and go 1 on 1 at his defender. It's infuriating at times. And his piss poor finishes around the hoop are a joke. If he's now launching 3's and can't make those, he's a zero on this team. I hope they can figure out what to do with that position well before the trade deadline.
