Chauncey has a well-known bias against evil spirits.

It should be noted that the Blazers lost that game 141-99. Oof.

So glad we’re out of that mess. It’s really too bad that someone with his talent could have been great.

Sometimes I wish we had just kept and grown that Finals team but then I see stuff like this and remember what it was like.

Yeah, Ayton had to go. He just had. The real mistake was not taking the rumored offer by IND including Turner. And Chris Paul's deal with the devil apparently expired when he got to 37 so he was done being a relevant factor on a contender, essentially making him an expiring contract and trading chip for us. Really, there was no way to improve or even keep the contender window open without major changes involving those two. Under that light, I don't think you can fault anyone for trading for KD, once you see his brilliance on a day to day basis. Now, acquiring Beal specifically (at the very least without him renouncing to the no-trade clause) was a much more questionable move, because you have Booker on the roster and afterwards you need to worry about a scarcity of assets and the limitations from the second apron. That, plus going with a defensive coach like Vogel, did cost us one season.

Very odd that he suffered the same injury as Banchero.

Maybe he couldn't stomach the extra load.

Gotta say, what Chris Paul is doing with the Spurs is pretty incredible, as he’s almost turning 40. Second all time now in assists:

No one will ever have a locker room celebration like that for Brad Beal.
