I also think people are exaggerating how bad it was. Either of those paragraphs would have been fine on its own. The juxtaposition of them is very insensitive, but the author might not have realized that.

DON'T DREAM IT'S OOOOOOVER
Re: Around the NBA: Week 3 (11/4 - 11/10)
We aren't talking about the government stepping in to arrest the journalist. We're talking about the team inviting the writer into their own locker room. There are only so many of those invites, and the team has a right to be choosy about who gets them. Hell, they have a responsibility to the players to keep that space professional and safe.

Maxey is out multiple weeks from a hamstring injury. What else can go wrong in Philly?
Re: Around the NBA: Week 3 (11/4 - 11/10)
Aside from the Cavs and Celtics, the East is jammed up with the Pacers, Nets, Hawks, Knicks, Heat all around .500. The Bucks and Sixers are both 1-6, the Magic were looking to take that leap but are 3-6 with Banchero now out at least a month. The Knicks are underperforming at the moment, the Nets are playing better than expected. Wonder how things shake out. Not sure I trust the Cavs as more than a regular season team.
The West is more competitive right now so I'm glad we're starting the season strong and getting these early wins.

Giannis is a child. Such a shame we lost to him in ‘21. If Paul’s rust didn’t finally give out…smh

Wow, that's big for the balance of power in the West. Hope he'll be okay and get back to 100% soon.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 5:37 amHolmgren out 8-10 weeks with a hip/pelvic fracture.

The way I read that tweet from Chams they will come up with a return protocol in 8-10 weeks. So it sounds like he will be out for far longer than that …
Re: Around the NBA: Week 3 (11/4 - 11/10)
The fall looked bad and he was in a lot of pain. Figured it would end up some kind of hip fracture. Hopefully we can keep winning to create some distance in the west.
