Game Day: Suns (29 - 34) @ Mavs (32 - 32) Sunday 03/09/25

Post by bajanguy008 »

Time: 12:30pm AZ (11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET)
Place: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
TV: ABC(ESPN) / NBALP

Super early start for some of you, 3:30pm in Barbados so I get another game to watch Live after some lunch.

Well this is an obvious "must win" game for the "sneak in to the Play In" storyline. It's no secret Mavs are a depleted team and since the All Star break they are 2-6 currently on a 4 game losing streak hanging on to the 10th seed. Those two wins were also Hornets and Pelicans......

They played the Grizzlies tough last game and as EJ always says, these end of the bench and two way guys always play hard to prove themselves so once again no room for our too kool stuff

Sunday matinee game against the Mavs with no Luka will seem weird. Either way, expect fellas gonna handle business.

Go Suns !!!

Just to confirm
This is the Mavs situation.

Game plan has to be get to the basket and points in the paint. I don't think we should be tempted to play small ball with KD at 5. Both Richards and Plumlee been solid recently and Mavs have no bigs right now

Guards wise, Klay still runs hot and cold but know he gets up for games against Book
Then there's Mr. Spencer "I only play well against the Suns" Dinwiddie smh :?

Really no excuses for us today

Mavs running out a skeleton crew in this game. I would feel bad for them, but Nico has cursed their franchise for a generation.

Thanks again for making the thread, bg! I had a late night last night and just woke up and saw the 12:30 Phoenix time start time.

If there's ever a must win, this is one. So the Suns will probably struggle to beat the hapless Mavs. Suns don't enjoy leads of any type.

If they don't win, time to start playing the developmental players from here on out.

I can't believe this game is on ABC. Is it courtesy of Make-A-Wish? Find the two most disappointing and distraught teams and feature them? I hope it's not one of those deals where they invite the ugly girl to the prom and then make fun of them.

Have the Sixers be the halftime show.

And invite the NBA's worst mascot. It might be Philly's. And feature the lamest halftime show.

About 4 or 5 turnovers already.....

This kid Williams starting at PG is fresh off a 31pt game and playing with a bounce in his step
